Recent figures from visa and master card have shown that online spend during the recent cold snap before Christmas 2010 has increased 20%. Normally a cold snap with snow is the ultimate retail business killer. This year we even saw with our own etailers the increase in business online as shoppers shopped from home.

The IEDR has reported that 44% of Irish businesses have no web presence, and 70% have no ecommerce aspect to their web presence.
