QR Codes are used mainly to get potential customers from print to web, mobile, SMS, text in one accurate step.
QR codes have been around since the 1980's and have been used extensively in manufacturing. Their advantage is that they can be printed and scanned easily. The code does not have to be of a great quality and it can be scanned from the top of a bus, from a newspaper, where ever you choose to display the link.
QR codes are generated free onlin. There should only be a cost involved in creating them if you want customised black boxes e.g make them dogs heads instead if your business is say dog grooming.
