It is becoming more and more of a pest un solicited skype calls and chats to ones PC. the latest development is a chat message the purports to have found an error on your PC and request you visit a site to rectify the problem. This is becoming an increasing threat to users who are not so sure of what to do and follow the link in the chat.
Because it is so easy to get a skype account and to setup , it's open season for fraudsters. The dilema is for internet companies who want to keep ther lines of communication open using skype are harassed by Skype Spam. Close Skype and close off potential sales leads or leave it open and 'put up with the rubbish'. After all we get tons of rubbish ail in our letter boxes and it does not make us nail the mailbox shut.
