We now have the software to monitor this and to detect the IP address of the offenders.
How does it work?
- We install a small JavaScript on your landing pages.
- We use this to detect a multiple click coming through a search engine.
- When the threshold is reached a popup java message is delivered to the clicker.
- They then know you have detected them.
- The first message is polite (well they should all be polite).
- The second message is a little more forceful.
- The third message is a warning that they are being investigated now.
- We email you when your defined threshold is reached.
- You then can detect where the IP address is physically located, and if you are lucky we will locate an address. This is not possible with general subscribers to say a broadband service where the IP addresses are dynamic.
This basically a monthly service, so you are not committing to a yearly service. The idea is once you have got the offenders off your site and they feel they are being watched they will not be back for while.
